CHIP ON BOARD

COB refers to the process of wire bonding a semiconductor or microchip die, directly to the circuit board, instead of undergoing conventional assembly or packaging as an individual IC. The exclusion of the conventional device packaging reduces cost and saves PCB real estate! It also improves performance as a result of building a shorter interconnection path. Talk to one of our GPT project engineers to see if COB is a good fit for your product.

BOX BUILD

This refers to the entire assembly of parts in a complete package or box. GPSS can offer a complete ‘Box Build’ solution including the materials management of all components, electromechanical parts, connectors, wire harness, plastics, casings, and print & packaging material. We offer a total solution to your ‘Box Build’ needs.

ROHS STANDARDS

All of our suppliers have been building ROHS compliant parts and assemblies for several years.

  • IMDS (International Material Data System) managed services for collecting, evaluating, and submitting material declarations for your products.
